ScoreCard — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how ScoreCard ("we", "our", "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information when you use our mobile application. We are an individual developer based in Belgium.

1. Data Controller & Contact

The data controller is the individual developer of ScoreCard. Contact: zaka.360@gmail.com. Jurisdiction: Belgium.

2. What We Collect

We use Google services that may collect device information (model, OS, language), app events and usage statistics, mobile advertising identifiers, and crash diagnostics.

3. How We Use Data

Analytics (Firebase) to understand usage and improve the app; Crash diagnostics (Crashlytics) to detect and fix issues; Advertising (AdMob) to display ads and support free access.

4. Legal Bases (EEA/UK)

We rely on consent for personalized advertising and analytics where required. We rely on legitimate interests for basic, non-personalized diagnostics and essential processing necessary to provide the service.

5. Consent & Preferences

If you are in the EEA/UK, we request consent at first launch via a consent dialog. You can change your choice at any time in Settings (e.g., opt in/out of analytics and personalized ads). Non-personalized ads may still appear.

6. Sharing & Processors

We share data with our processors solely to provide the services mentioned above: Google Firebase Analytics, Google Crashlytics, and Google AdMob. Each processes data in accordance with its own privacy documentation.

7. International Transfers

Your data may be processed outside your country (including the United States). Where applicable, Google implements transfer safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

8. Retention

We retain analytics and diagnostics data only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by the relevant services’ retention settings.

9. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

10. Children

The app is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

11. Your Rights (EEA/UK)

Where applicable, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at the email above.

12. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be indicated in-app and by updating the “Last Updated” date above.
